I remember a college professor who told us not to use the word “SAHOD” in pertaining to an amount or wealth that we worked hard for. I can still picture how she raised her eyebrows telling us stories of ordinary people using that Unethical word, and how she would want to proper them by telling “Pinapala mo ba yung kinikita mo?Pwede mo naming gamitin ang word na Sweldo eh”. That time I wonder, “Kelan ko kaya mararanasan ang unang sahod ay este sweldo?” My day dreaming suddenly crashed when she called me to get some updates of our project! I smiled at her and immediately report (together with a friend) the progress of our project. I miss you Mam! You are one of my biggest influences in life. (drama)
